Mary Odede Olubunmi

Am hail from a town called Abeokuta (meaning under the rock) in Ogun state, Nigeria. I am a graduate of Biochemistry from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in a town called Ogbomosho in Oyo state, Nigeria.

OBLAYO STYLES

I first discovered my passion for fashion and design when I was in high school (secondary school). Later on, my desire to learn the art increased. During one of the strikes we had in 2007, I took the bold step by going to learn the art from an expert who was an Alumni of the fashion school of Art in Ikeja, Nigeria. I left there at some point but resumed on every holiday i had to spend.

In 2012, I was opportune to be at Mayors Fashion, where I got skills on some critical styles. Fashion isn't just beautiful, it's a LifeStyle and so far it's been amazing. Oblayo styles came about during on of our sessions at NYSC/MDG programs on camp at Yikpata orientation camp Kwara State, Nigeria. We were asked to write a proposal on personal project whose aim is to alleviate poverty and make people self-employed. I gave my project the name Oblayo styles from my name OluwaBunmiLAYO. I believe every of my design is a style on its own and its aim is to bring about confidence and self-reassurance

GOALS

Our productivity at Oblayo styles builds the fashion industry through design building as well as creates avenue for empowering youths in skill acquisition to promote self reliance and sustainability there in our full potentials are maximizes for the growth of all.

Fashion is more than Styles, It's an absolute Creativity with true Talent. It is a LifeStyle
